Cheerful service and support and provided helpful advice on key issues. Obvious behind the scenes chasing up with potential buyers and solicitors and a good number of viewings despite the dreaded Brexit influence. Original estimate proved high and alteration only a few days after the property was put on the market may have got us off to a slow start ? Energy report was inaccurate and some photos were not helpful. Dealt very well with the couple who pulled out near to possible exchange of contracts. It would have been helpful for the ultimate buyers to have been told what we had been about to sell for and that we were not prepared to go lower than that. They rather naughtily kept their own limit unsaid until so much time had elapsed that we felt obliged to accept it. It was only thanks to those we were buying from, who lowered their price that allowed us to retain the margin. Moving is not an easy experience but you made it as painless as possible. Thank you.

Grant was both enthusiastic and professional at our first meeting and he appeared to me to be more able to deliver a good outcome on the sale than 2 other agents whom I considered.He gave his views on how the sale should be handled and what service he would deliver.For the duration of the marketing he never failed to give feedback when it had been promised and his thoughts on sales strategy as the process continued. He was always thoughtful and never indulged pointless banter. His excellent care and attention was also reflected by his colleagues who never failed to provide excellent service. I had suffered a bereavement which led to the sale of the house and Grant was very conscious that I was going through a difficult time. As a result I felt he was always going the extra mile to make life easier for me. Aquib and the staff regularly sent me details of properties available for viewing in the initial stage. They were very good for arranging the viewings for me as I visited from Cardiff. Once my offer for property had been accepted, things went very slow, probably with the solicitors getting involved. James continuously kept me informed of the progress at a later stage. However, the whole buying process was very frustrating as it took 5/6 months.

Phillip Twallin and his team at the Stanmore branch brought tremendous energy, enthusiasm and expertise to the sale of my mother's house at a very difficult time for my family. Within 2 hours of instructing they had a queue of people waiting to view and within days we had half a dozen credible offers on the table. We ended up at a very pleasing price point. After the initial groundwork, our case was then admirably handled by James Sweet who was no less attentive in steering the sale through to completion. Fantastic communication throughout the process. I always felt that everyone at GG had our best interests at heart and really cared. This made me feel secure and confident. A few months ago, James Sweet of Gibbs Gillespie visited my property and was able to give an immediate valuation based on neighbouring properties that were recently sold.
